The MAKER Planner: Furniture Painting

Hi! First of all, I want to thank you for your purchase!! These humble planners help me work from home, so I can raise my boys AND continue to pursue my passion for creating. Secondly, if you have never seen one of my "maker" planners before, I'd like to notate a few specific formatting details that may seem different from ordinary planners.

You've probably noticed the interior is pretty monochrome...at first glance it may seem odd, and maybe even boring. However, as a creative, I personally love having pages to color. It acts as an outlet for stress or any creative blocks I may hit. And while some of my planners have a bunch of designated coloring pages, these maker planners are so stuffed full of worksheets, that I can only fit a few actual coloring pages in them. So I decided to incorporate more "coloring pages" into the other pages, with different images on each one that can either be left alone, or brightened up. However you see fit.

The other formatting difference is the weekly pages. Most planners have dated weeks, following each specific month. However, I prefer to look at my months all together, and notate the most important dates. Then I can get an idea of what's going on during those months with an easy turn of only a few pages, rather than having to thumb through an entire planner. The other side to this coin is, sometimes, I am not as organized as I'd like to be, and don't write a week or so down. Then I'm not only thumbing through months, but also randomly blank, week pages, and it overwhelms me. So the months are together, for quick glances. Followed by all 52 weeks in one section, un-dated, so you can use them one-by-one. And if you miss a week, you can still start on the very next page, instead of having to skip over blank ones.

I hope this all makes sense. I know the creative mind can be a weird one. But if you bought this planner, you may already know that. :) Happy making!!
